Originals are often hard to beat, and with the Double Dees V2, every attempt at improvement was considered. The carcass was revised for a slimmer profile, narrowing the area for treaded components and adding a slight radius for improved rolling transition. The sidewall provides cushion for bumps and irregular terrain, while the lower "hips" offer more stability and a rounder edge. Inner carcass webbing incorporates an overlapping X pattern to provide support at high speeds. The V2 rear tire is perfect for various track surfaces, making the Double Dees a reliable choice when conditions are unknown.

The pin design features back-to-back D-shaped pins in the center, producing forward bite and stability. The triangulated 4-some tread layout includes dual square pins surrounding the center, while staggered lugs and alternating open sections allow dirt and debris to clear, improving flexibility.
